Hi, I’m Lo — Your Birth Photographer & Storyteller

Hey there, I’m Lo! A Fort Worth birth photographer (and cinematic filmmaker!) capturing the wild, messy, magical moments of birth across DFW. Mama to three feral kiddos, fueled by kombucha, dramatic skies, and a healthy obsession with Game of Thrones quotes. My life’s a jungle of plants, chaotic laughter, and cozy blankets. all the perfectly imperfect stuff I love to photograph.

From Medic to Birth Photographer

I grew up in Weatherford, TX, where childhood meant dirt roads, four wheelers, and endless small town adventures. Once an Olympic hopeful gymnast (until a gnarly ankle injury rewrote that story), I found my way into healthcare. spending seven intense years as a medic in a level one trauma unit.

At 20, I had my first baby, born peacefully in water. a moment that changed everything. That’s when the camera found me. What began as curiosity turned into an all consuming passion. Birth photography allowed me to tell stories through light and love, capturing the raw, beautiful chaos of real motherhood. I filmed births, supported families as a doula, and honored life’s sacred moments.

After the sudden loss of my dad, I took a much needed sabbatical to heal and pour love into my family. Though I’m slowly refilling my cup, my passion for storytelling never faded. Today, I focus on birth photography across Fort Worth and DFW, documenting every gasp, tiny foot, and tearful smile. the kind of intimate moments you never want to forget.

Why I Photograph Births

Birth is magical, chaotic, sacred, and fleeting. I photograph it because I know these moments matter. every breath, tear, and tiny hand. My goal is to capture your story exactly as it unfolds: unposed, raw, and utterly beautiful.

I’m a crunchy, kombucha guzzling, tea all day mama with a wild heart and a deep love for messy beauty. You’ll often find me wandering Target aisles quoting Game of Thrones, snuggling my kids on rainy days, or wiping tears with a Ted Lasso biscuit. My food love language? Sushi and Chipotle every day, every mood, always with extra guac.
