BUSY MOMMA OF 4 FERAL WILDLINGS WITH A LOVE FOR TURNING LIFE'S MOMENTS INTO ART. WHEN I’M NOT BEHIND THE LENS YOU CAN USUALLY FIND ME SIPPING ON KOMBUCHA AND SHUTTLING MY KIDS FROM FOOTBALL, CHEER, AND BOXING. MY RADIO MAY GIVE YOU WHIPLASH AS I LISTEN TO ALL THE GENRES AND ERAS!

Hey there, I’m Lo!
Family photographer with a boho soul and a serious thing for moody, dramatic skies. Mama to four wildlings, fueled by kombucha and Hooa hooah hooah weather (Twilight fans, you know exactly what I mean). Forever adding “just one more” plant to my jungle and quoting Game of Thrones like it’s sacred scripture.
I live in North Richland Hills, Texas, but I grew up in Weatherford, where my family owned a lots of land. My childhood was full of dirt roads, four-wheelers, and the kind of adventures that come with small town life (back when Weatherford was a small town). I was a gymnast who trained for the Olympics (plot twist: a gnarly ankle injury took me out of the running), and I’ve always had a deep love for science which led me to spend seven years in a level one trauma unit as a medic. (Yeah, it was intense.)
I had my first baby at 20, and his peaceful water birth changed the trajectory of my life. I became a certified doula, dove deep into the world of birth work, and even started midwifery school with Mercy in Action. But then I got pregnant with my youngest (aka the wild cub we lovingly call Mowgli), and life whispered, “Slow down.” So I did.b
Then came the camera. What started as a curiosity turned into a full blown creative obsession. Birth photography let me tell stories again but this time with light, love, and the beautiful chaos of real life motherhood. I began filming births, serving & supporting moms as a doula & capturing raw and sacred moments, and honoring families in their most transformative seasons.
But after the sudden loss of my dad, everything shifted. I took a sabbatical from birth work to grieve and give my heart and my family the space to heal. For now, I’ve stepped back from the birth space. It takes a full cup to pour into others, and I’m still in the refill stage. That said, my love for storytelling hasn't gone anywhere.
These days, I’m focused on family photography the real, unfiltered, soulful kind. The belly laughs, sticky fingers, barefoot backyard adventures kind. Whether you're a fellow crunchy parent, a chaos embracing crew, or just want someone who sees the magic in the everyday I'm your girl.
And if you’re curious to see the moment that helped spark it all, here’s the birth video of my youngest son, Waylon (a.k.a. Mowgli):

I’m a crunchy, kombucha-guzzling, tea all day, every day kind of mama with a wild heart and a bookshelf full of smutty romance (no shame in my book loving game!). Forever claiming I belong in the mountains, but here I am stuck in Texas, sweating in places I didn’t know could sweat and wandering the aisles of Target and TJ Maxx.
Game of Thrones!? Watched it so many times I could recite it like ancient wisdom. Ted Lasso?! My emotional support show. If I’m feeling sad, that mustachioed man is talking me right off the ledge with a biscuit and a smile. Also, “Foooootball is LIIIIIFE” Dani Rojas!
My taste buds are in a long term, committed relationship with sushi and Chipotle. Truly, I could eat both every single day and still be asking for seconds (and always, always extra guac).
If I wasn’t doing what I do now, I’d be off living my boho nomad dream traveling the world with my little wildlings on a souped up bus, snapping photos and chasing golden hour across every timezone.
I birthed all my babies in water because apparently I’m part mermaid. I’m also a sucker for dramatic skies, rainy days, barefoot living, and emotional moments that deserve to be frozen in time.
Capturing the raw, the real, and the beautifully imperfect is what lights me up. I live for the messy hair, belly laughs, muddy toes, sleepy snuggles, and the in between moments that feel like magic when you look back. I don’t need everything to be perfectly posed I want the real stuff. The stuff that makes your heart ache in the best way. If it makes you laugh, cry, or say “dang, that’s us” then I’ve done my job. Because life isn’t always tidy, but it is beautiful and that’s exactly what I’m here to capture. The beautiful chaos what we love to call, “Motherhood”
