How soon should I book you?

I only take a certain amount of births each month, so my calendar fills up fast. To make sure you secure your spot, it's best to book as soon as you're ready. Plus, if you need a payment plan, booking earlier will give you more time to pay. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
Do you offer payment plans?

Of course! I totally understand that birth photography can be a big expense. But I want to help make it achievable for you. That's why I offer simple payment plans - all you have to do is pay off your balance by 38 weeks to make it stress-free.
What if you miss the birth?

Missed births are really rare. babies can be unpredictable and sometimes they arrive faster than we expect, which may lead me to miss some of the birth moments. This is also why hiring a birth photographer that has amazing back ups! I have a couple of birth photographers on standby in case of an emergency. However, if I happen to miss of the moments due to your speedy delivery, I will still come and document everything that I can. Most of the time, I arrive just moment after the baby is born and capture those precious moments such as first bath, newborn exam, and family meeting the baby. My main goal is to document your story however it unfolds and sometimes your birth story reflects a precipitous birth.
What if I have a C-section?

Due to COVID-19, hospital policies have changed. If I am not permitted to join you, I will stay until after the c-section and you are in recovery. Sometimes, I'll send your spouse back with a camera to take some quick shots and get as much as they can for me to use. Before leaving your birth, we will discuss options for capturing images of your baby, if hospital policy allows it.
Can I choose my own music for the film?

Unfortunately, due to licensing requirements, clients are unable to choose their own music. I encourage you to check out some of my previous birth videos to get a sense of my style and musical choices.
Will you post my images and film online?

I always ask for my clients' consent before sharing any images. As much as I would love to share your beautiful birth story, I understand that your privacy is extremely important.
However, I do believe that we have lost something in our modern culture when it comes to discussing birth. We don't talk about it the way we should. By sharing empowering birth images and films we can show stories of strength, bravery, and beauty, inspiring other women and reminding mothers of their own capabilities. I truly believe that this can make a difference.
When will my photos be ready?

Being a mother to 4 wildlings at home, the full gallery takes a bit longer. I hand-edit each individual image, I try my best to deliver your gallery within 6 weeks. Birth films can be up to 12 weeks.
